WHAT THE CLIENT NEEDED

An email and SMS campaign that targets plumbers in different regions as they launch a new product. They need to update the plumbers in the area where the Roadshow will be stopping and when each event will occur.

WHAT WE DID

Grundfos NZ was unable to provide an email database and their Australian branch held the database for the E-academy. Because of this, Spike used other data sources to build a database of plumbers from each region and the nearby regions that the Roadshow would stop at. We then put a direct marketing plan in place to create an email and SMS database we could communicate with.

Spike also created a 3-month timeline for the email campaign and SMS reminder.

WHAT HAPPENED

We were able to build a decent database of plumber emails for each region and the campaign did really well. Two of the biggest list garnered 39.77% and 51.33% open rates. The highest open rate received was 42.11% from one of the big list send.

These campaign helped Grundfos vastly exceed their sales goal for the year.
